Cycle World has a "first-ride" review of the new Vespa Super 300 up. The reviewer seems pretty impressed, and echoes what we have experienced in test rides, and heard from happy owners: The 300 goes!
A 3mm larger bore accompanied by a 3mm longer stroke bumps displacement from 244cc to 278cc. While claimed peak torque is only slightly higher (16.5 foot-pounds versus 14.9), it comes at 5000 rpm as opposed to 6500 for the 250.

Cold Weather Riding
While most New England Motorcyclists hang up their helmets once the white stuff starts to fall, photographer Nick Caro, throws on some extra layers and switches from two to three wheels. We know Nick as one of our most regular Gerbing's Heated Gear customers. Check out this slideshow of his CanAm Spyder in the snow, and you will see why. You will also see how he has easily put 70,000 miles on this beast in less than two years.
